Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Renders Show Up

Marketing renders for Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge have leaked. The device is expected to come in three different titanium color options: Jet Black, Silver, and Icy Blue. It is also reported to be extremely thin, at just 5.8mm.

However, this slim profile comes at a cost: Samsung has reduced its battery capacity to 3,900mAh, as reported by DroidLife.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is said to have a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display and run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It will have two rear cameras instead of three on the other S25 lineup devices; details about the camera are not available yet.

Samsung’s decision to create an ultra-thin device may be the start of something new in the smartphone market. Or maybe they wanted to launch it before Apple could with the rumored iPhone 17 Air. After all, who doesn’t want to be a trendsetter? If Apple launches a slim phone, it will almost certainly become a trend; such is Apple’s power.

The positioning of the S25 Edge within Samsung’s lineup remains unclear. Some say that it may be placed between the standard S25 and the S25 Ultra models. Pricing and other features are not known yet.

The industry will be watching closely to see how this and other ultra-thin devices perform in the market.
