Oppo Find X8 Ultra to Launch April 10 With Massive 6,100mAh Battery and 5 Rear Cameras

Oppo has confirmed that its next-gen Find X8 Ultra will launch on April 10, 2025, and come with a massive 6,100 mAh battery—a 22% increase compared with its last variant, which only had 5,000mAh.

Oppo’s product director, Zhou Yibao, shared some specs on social media, as reported by GSMArena. Despite the larger battery, Oppo will keep the 100W wired charging speed. According to Zhou, the device can charge from 0 to 100% in 35 minutes.

The phone will have a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and a large 6.82-inch AMOLED display. It has five cameras on the back: four 50 MP sensors and one spectral sensor. The primary camera uses a Sony LYT-900 1-inch sensor, with a Sony IMX882 ultrawide lens and two periscope telephoto cameras.

Other specifications include up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The device also supports 50W wireless charging.

There are mixed reports about the global availability of the Find X8 Ultra. Some sources say Oppo might keep it exclusive to China, as they did with the Find X7 Ultra and Find X6 Ultra. However, other reports mean the company may be reconsidering this decision and could launch the device globally.
